Riverside Spline & Gear adds another Large CNC Hobber.
We are proud to introduce our newest addition to our gear cutting team of machines.
Our new Pfauter P900 has a diameter capacity of 35.4” and can cut teeth as large as 2.5 DP. The P900 has crowning and taper tooth capability. This new CNC Hobber, like the Modul we added in 2011, was retrofit by Machine Tool Builders. MTB is well known in the gear industry for using older heavy duty platforms and turning them into new CNC gear cutting equipment.
This machine was purchased to add to our gear cutting capabilities and capacity. The P900 will add increased flow to our 4 Hofler grinders, the newest one being added in 2015.
