We provide spline manufacturing and industrial spline repair for new equipment, replacement components, legacy machinery and low-volume production. Our team supports internal splines, external splines, splined shafts, hubs and related industrial components from our Marine City, Michigan facility.
Projects can begin with drawings, CAD files, specifications, sample parts or existing components. Riverside can support new spline manufacturing, repair evaluation, replacement splines and reverse-engineered components based on the condition and requirements of the part.

SPLINE CUTTING AND MACHINING
Riverside supports multiple spline cutting and machining processes depending on the part geometry, fit and application requirements.
Capabilities can include shaping, hobbing, milling, Wire EDM, turning, grinding and related machining operations. Keeping these processes connected within the same manufacturing workflow helps reduce outside handoffs and maintain control over critical dimensions.
INDUSTRIAL SPLINE REPAIR
Riverside manufactures replacement splines for worn, damaged, obsolete and hard-to-source industrial components.
Projects can begin with original drawings or CAD files, but Riverside can also review existing components when documentation is incomplete or unavailable. Critical dimensions, spline geometry, fit and other features can be evaluated to support a reverse-engineered replacement.
This capability is especially useful for legacy machinery, discontinued OEM components and industrial equipment where standard replacement spline parts are no longer readily available.
SPLINED SHAFTS AND LOW-VOLUME PRODUCTION
Riverside supports custom splined shafts, one-off components, prototypes, replacement parts and low-volume spline manufacturing.
This makes Riverside a fit for OEMs, maintenance teams and industrial customers that need custom spline components without committing to high-volume production.
